Our story
It started with Maxy.
One Siamese cat, multiple chronic conditions to manage, and a pet parent who refused to let anything fall through the cracks.
I adopted my soul cat, Maxy, in 2016. Fast forward to 2020, and nothing could have prepared me for navigating his care after he was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, and in 2024, incurable blood cancer.
I did what so many pet parents do: I learned everything I could. I made spreadsheets, memorized his bloodwork, tracked appointments and medications, and spent countless nights reading research to understand what was happening so I could make the most informed decisions for him.
Maxy's care was in good hands. His records were scattered across clinics, labs, pharmacies, and emails, and no one could see them all at once.
Everything I needed existed. I just couldn't see it all together.
So I built Unfurrow.
