Terms of Service

By creating an Unfurrow account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is part of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

You need an account to use Unfurrow. You agree to give us a real email address, to keep your password secure, and to be responsible for what happens under your sign-in. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access.

You can hold as many pets as you like. Please only add animals whose records you are entitled to keep, such as your own pet or one you are formally caring for.

This matters more than the rest of this page combined. Unfurrow organizes, explains, and summarizes records you already have. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or treat, and it is not a substitute for a licensed veterinarian.

Plain-language explanations, suggested studies, and answers pulled from your records are meant to help you ask better questions at your next appointment. They are not medical advice and should never delay you from calling your vet, an emergency animal hospital, or a pet poison hotline.

Where a study is suggested, it was chosen because it is published and relevant, not because it applies to your pet. Only your vet can decide what fits the animal in front of them.

You own the pets, records, photos, and notes you put into Unfurrow. We claim no ownership over them.

You give us a limited permission to store, process, and display them for one purpose: running the service you signed up for, including the automated reading described in our Privacy Policy, and producing the summaries, exports, share links, and Pet Care IDs you ask for.

You confirm you have the right to upload the documents you add. Do not upload someone else's records or another person's personal information without their say-so.

Please do not:

• Upload records you have no right to hold.
• Try to reach another user's data, or probe the app for weaknesses without telling us first.
• Scrape, mass-download, or overload the service, or automate sign-ups.
• Resell or rebadge Unfurrow as your own product without an agreement with us.
• Use the app for anything unlawful.

Share links are read-only summaries and are meant for a specific person, such as a new vet or a sitter. Anyone who has a live link can see that summary, so treat the link like a house key. You can revoke it at any time from your pet's page, and we recommend doing so as soon as the visit is over.

Unfurrow is free to use today and we intend to keep the core record-keeping free. If we ever introduce a paid tier, we will tell you before charging anything, and nothing you already stored will be held hostage. You can export your data and leave at any point.

We are building this in the open, so features will be added, renamed, and sometimes removed. We will not promise uptime we cannot guarantee. If a change materially affects your records, we will give you a reasonable chance to export first.

The app is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it accurate and running, but we do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that extracted text and values will always match the original document.

Always check a summary against the original file you uploaded, especially before acting on a medication dose, a lab value, or a vaccine date. The original document is the record.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Unfurrow is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make using information the app displayed. If you are unhappy with the app, your remedy is to stop using it and delete your account, which you can do at any time and at no cost.

You can delete your account from Settings whenever you want. Your pets, records, photos, and uploaded files are removed with it. If we have to suspend or end an account, we will tell you why and give you a chance to export your data first, unless the law stops us.

We will update the date at the top of this page when these terms change and will post notable changes in the app or by email. If you keep using Unfurrow after a change, the new terms apply.
