Privacy Policy

Unfurrow holds your pet's health records so you can find them fast. Those records are yours. Only you can see them unless you deliberately share them. We do not sell them, we do not rent them, and we do not show you ads.

The rest of this page explains what we collect, why, where it sits, and how to take it back.

Everything in your account is either something you typed, something you uploaded, or something you connected. We collect four kinds:

Your account

Your name, your email address, and the profile photo you choose. If you sign up with Google, we receive your name, email, and photo from Google.

Your pets

The details you give us: name, species, breed, birthday, adoption date, weight, microchip number, and a photo. You can skip any of it.

Documents you upload

Vet exam notes, lab and bloodwork results, vaccine records, prescriptions, insurance claims, genetic reports, and photos of paper records. We keep the original file you uploaded, not just a copy of the text.

Things you add by hand

Reminders, recurring orders, insurance policies you note down, diagnoses you confirm, appointment and visit details, and any emergency contact name and phone number you enter for a downloadable Pet Care ID.

If you use the contact form, we keep your message so we can answer it.

To do the job you signed up for, and nothing else:

• To build one organized record for each pet, so you are not digging through email attachments.
• To explain a lab result in plain language using the reference ranges printed on your document.
• To answer questions like "when is the next refill due?" from your own records.
• To remind you about vaccines, visits, and refills you asked to be reminded about.
• To generate the exports, share links, and Pet Care IDs you ask for.

We do not use your records to train models for other companies, and we do not build advertising profiles from them.

By default, only you. Every pet, record, photo, and file is tied to your account and is checked against it every time it is loaded. Other Unfurrow users cannot browse, search, or stumble into your pets.

You can create a read-only share link for one pet. That link shows a summary only. It never includes your uploaded documents, your private notes files, or your identity as the owner. You can revoke it at any time, and the link stops working the moment you do.

When you upload something, we read it automatically to file it properly: what kind of record it is, which pet it belongs to, the date, and the values printed on the page. We use this to name the record, sort it into the right section, and build a summary.

We only show numbers that are actually printed in your document. If a value, a range, or a diagnosis is not there, we do not make one up. Where the app is unsure which pet a file belongs to, it leaves the file for you to file rather than guessing.

The same applies to diagnoses. The app can suggest a condition it found written in a record, and you decide whether to keep it. If you remove one, it stays removed.

Records and photos live in private storage that is scoped to your account. Files are not served from public addresses; access is granted per owner, and temporary links for viewing a photo or a document expire.

Sign-in is protected by your password, and password resets go to your email. No system is perfect, so please keep your password to yourself and sign out on shared devices.

• We do not sell your personal data or your pet's records.
• We do not share them with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not run third-party advertising or tracking on your records.
• We do not show your pet's information to other users of the app.

You stay in control of every piece of data in your account:

• Correct it. Edit any pet, record, reminder, or order at any time.
• Take it with you. Export a CSV or print a clean summary for a new vet or a sitter.
• Revoke a link. Delete any share link you created.
• Delete it. Remove a pet, a record, or a photo permanently.
• Leave. Delete your account from Settings. Your pets, records, and uploaded files go with it.

If you would like a copy of everything we hold, or want something removed and cannot find the control for it, email hello@unfurrow.app and we will handle it.

Unfurrow is made for adult pet owners. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change meaningfully affects how your data is used, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
